First Meeting is for Scouts AND Parents

Posted by dbperry on Aug 25 2014 - 2:33pm

Scouts AND Parents:

Please join us on Wednesday 9/3 for the first Troop 23 meeting of the 2014-2015 year. The meeting will be from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (correct - ending one hour early for both Scouts and Parents). The parents meeting will be upstairs in the VFW.

For the parents, our newly appointed Scoutmaster Bernie Temple will be introducing himself to those of you who don't know him yet, and he will be discussing our plans for this year. We'll also have some discussions on various topics from Assistant Scoutmasters and Committee Members. And of course, plenty of time for your questions! The meeting will be most beneficial for parents of new Scouts, but there will be plenty of interesting items for parents of older Scouts. Please show your support for Bernie and our Troop with your attendance!

For the Scouts, we'll have some outdoor games and a review of upcoming events.

We're excited for another year of adventures and learning!
