There is a parents pre summer camp meeting at 8pm on Wednesday We will be meeting on Wednesday night at the VFW at 6.30pm. Full uniform is to be worn. We are going to have a scouting skills night. Older Scouts will assist with the skills instruction. Spartans are the duty patrol and should arrive 10 minutes to out out the chairs and should remain behind for ten minutes at the end to clear up. We will meet at Wildwood cemetery no later than 10.15am and march to Montenegro Square. The memorial service starts at 10.30am. Please mark this on your calendars. Summer Camp We have 41 Scouts signed up for Summer Camp from Aug 4-9 ,. Due to system problems at Council the early bird discount has been extended. If you still wish to go to camp please let Mr Barrett know by May 29. The cost will be $370 if you pay by then $410 if paid after. Click on forms and manuals once on the site. we have attached a merit badge sign up sheet and the list of merit badges for your information. Scouts can sign up for a maximum of 4 merit badges. Remember merit badges are on a first come first served basis so the quicker you get your choices in the more success you will have. All Scouts must select merit badges. The camp medical form is on the site. This is a completely new form. Parts A and B are completed by you. Part C must be completed by your son's doctor. The form must be completed in its entirety. We need two copies of the form - one for camp and one for the troop. Mass Jam 2013 The Mass Jam will be held in Barnstable Fair Grounds, East Falmouth from Saturday October 12 to Monday October 14. The cost per person attending is $50 which is all inclusive and covers registration fees and food. We need names before the end of session as registration is due just after we start up again in September.
We will be meeting on Wednesday night at the VFW at 6.15pm. No uniform is to be worn. We are going to have a service project night. We will work on the maintenance of Evan Doktor's and Craig Barrett's Eagle projects and also work on Keith's current Eagle project. You should wear old clothes and bring gardening equipment including rakes, shovels, gloves etc. It would be helpful if parents could ferry Scouts to their allotted project and pick them up there at 8.30pm. We hope that there will be a good turn out . Obviously this is weather dependent. If the weather is bad we will meet at the VFW as usual.

Court of Honor Our next Court of Honor will be held on April 24 at 8pm. We will invite parents and siblings of Scouts who are rank advancing only due to the large number of Scouts in the troop and space constraints
